International Day of Happiness is TODAY! It’s Tucson’s first time celebrating and there’s a lot of fun to be had. From a flash mob dance to my family band, The Nap Skippers, rocking – there’s free festivities all weekend. The mayor will be there at 11:45am!
Thanks to Anita Fonte of Do Happy Today for putting this together. In this article written by Kristen Cook of the Arizona Daily Star, Anita explains Arizona only ranked a 20 out of 50 for well-being. That doesn’t make me happy to hear, but I think there’s such a big opportunity to improve this.
I love this poster of “Ten keys to happier living” by Action for Happiness. It’s simple and reminds you of the simple things that equate to living happily!
In conjunction with this poster – learning new things is one of the keys to happiness. This afternoon there are free workshops at the downtown Pima County Library. I’ve got some fun and EASY crafts for kids at 1:30pm.
