I am lucky to say that I have four different Moms. My Mom, my birth-mom, my step-mom and Mother-in-law. Since it’s Mother’s Day, I wanted to give a special thanks to each of them.

Mom (Jane)
Mom, thanks for always being there when I was upset or sick. I think everyone wants to be near their Mom when you don’t feel well. When Syver had the stomach bug, all he wanted to do was lay on top of me. I even recall doing the same thing to you when I was about three, but then puking on you. Yuck – sorry about that.

Not only were you there for the sick times, but the great times. Like celebrating my  MBA graduation or the big art show at Madaras Gallery.

I am thankful Syver has a NaNa like you. He thinks you live at the airport, but I guess that’s OK.

Thanks for letting me find you in 1997. Knowing you has really helped fill in a part of me that was missing. I am thankful to have a birth-mom like you. I appreciate your thoughtfulness and really enjoyed getting together at Christmas with the whole Hoyt clan. I also appreciate the gifts and cards you send for Syver.

Since you came into my life you always made it easy for me to talk to you. I like how you are always giving hugs to me and my friends. It is so nice having you visit in the Winters now. Syver has a lot of fun too! “Yippee kiyay“!

I am one of the few young ladies that can say, “My Mother in Law is great!” Since the day I met you in Virgina you have been kind and supportive. Jon is really such a great guy because of you and Wally. Syver loves his Grammi!
